Learn Zoom tool

First Option

The Zoom tool is located in the Tools panel. Change from Zoom In to Zoom Out in the options bar.

Simple way to zoom is to select zoom tool towards the bottom of tool panel.

Select Zoom + Icon to zoom IN

Select Zoom - Icon to zoom OUT

Second Option

This option is useful when you working with some other tool (like Brush tool) and you want to zoom in:-

Select CTRL and “+” key

Select CTRL and “-” key

You can also press Ctrl K (Mac: Command K) to bring up the Preferences panel, and turn on the “Zoom with Scroll Wheel” check-box, found in the Tools tab (General Tab in CS 6 and older). This will allow you to zoom in and out by simply using the scroll wheel, without the need of pressing Alt (or Option).
