Layers in Photoshop

Photoshop is layer base software.

Photoshop Layers allow you to work non-destructively by stacking images in top of images without interacting and mixing pixels of images.

“Layer” is the one of the thing that makes the Photoshop an amazing photo editing Software.

Unlock Layer

We can see a lock symbol on it. It means we can’t move or do anything because the layer is locked.

To unlocked two Option:-

    1.   Double click on locked layer.It will show you a popup where you can change the name of that locked layer and then press OK.

     2.   grab that lock symbol and drag it to the trash

  

     New Layer  Create  

    

     Must take new layer when you create anything in Photoshop. Because it’s easy to edit. 

For New layer shortcut key is:-

CTRL + SHIFT+N        OR         CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N

Another way is to create a layer with default name and settings, 

click the New Layer button in the Layers panel.

Layer Turn on and off

With Eye Symbol button you can turn on and off Layer

So the most important thing about layer system is to keep every single item in different layer and don’t let any of them destroy or mix with each other.
