How to add fonts to Photoshop
Adding text to pictures and photos is a popular
feature in Photoshop. And there is a variety of fonts in your computer. Adding
fonts to Photoshop is an easy task, as they only need to be added to the hard
drive of your computer then rest of the thing will I will teach you.
Alright, let's get started.
1. Download the fonts from the internet.
There are many
websites for "free fonts," then simply click on "download"
to get the font which you like. There are hundreds of sites that offer fonts
online, and usually the first page of your search should have safe, plentiful
options.
You may also buy CDs
of fonts from nearer computer store.
Simply save your fonts
on Desktops of your computer screen so it’s easy to find. However, as long as
you know where you downloaded the fonts, it doesn't matter.
2. Download the fonts from the internet.
Open a window where you have downloaded
the font .Best way to save on Desktop in New Folder.to view the fonts. If they
are in a .ZIP file, right-click and choose extract. Then find the font itself by
looking at the extension (otf . after the file). Photoshop fonts come with the
following extensions:
.otf
.ttf
.pbf
pfm
3. Install the font
Open the folder where you download the
font and right click on that file. Then you need to select “install” button.
And rest of the thing will happen automatically.
4. No install option
If you don’t have “Install” option. In
that case you can go for another method which also simple.
1.
Click on the Start Menu, and then click
on Control Panel.

Then click on Click on
"Appearance and Personalization" (Note: You skip this step in Windows
XP).

Click on "Fonts."

Then copy the New font (which you want
to install) and Paste in “Fonts” folder. OR you can drag and drop to “Fonts”
folder.
Finally, our font is downloaded and
now we can use it.
